48 hours in Burgundy in the Haut Nivernais Val d'Yonne

Saturday :

10 am: head to the halls of Clamecy town hall where the weekly market is held every Saturday morning! Fruits, vegetables, cheeses, meats, fish and other fresh products rub shoulders in a historic setting in the midst of very friendly producers, ready to make you taste all the delights of their production.

11:30 p.m .: take a short break on the terrace of the café located just opposite the Clamecy Haut Nivernais tourist office… Chardonnay or Melon from the region, the choice is yours… or perhaps a kir, why not?

12:30 p.m .: lunch break on the terrace of the pizzeria, located close by, a treat for the whole family!

14 am: after renting your bikes in Clamecy, go for a ride along the Nivernais canal, on the flat and completely secure towpath, heading north to Coulanges-sur-Yonne, passing by the geological site of Basseville rocks in Surgy or south towards the Tannaysie vineyard.

Sunday :

10 am: after having contacted the owners, departure, by car this time, for Corbelin's gardens, located in the village of Chapelle Saint-André!

12 am: return to Clamecy and to prolong this “Nature” break, after some shopping, head to Parc Vauvert for a picnic on the grass…

15 am: Using the GuidigGO application as well as the Randoland brochure, provided by the Clamecy Haut Nivernais Tourist Office, discover Clamecy and the history of timber floating. Children, thanks to the puzzles of Inspector Rando and P'tite Bûche, will also be able to discover the city while having fun. To end in style, treat yourself with a pastry or a delicious homemade ice cream And don't forget to stock up on treats along the way!
