“ABANDONED KINGDOMS” – Exhibition at the gallery

Until August 23, 2022

The gallery will host an exhibition that is out of the ordinary, bringing together the work of 2 well-known professional photographers who have been exhibited in France and abroad, and who have worked on these subjects for twenty years.

"One photographs industrial wastelands and abandoned mines in Europe, the other, shika deer in Japan. What connects these two photographers is their particular relationship to nature, whether mineral or animal. C t is a relationship to time that seems frozen, witness to the past of industrial exploitation or heralding an uneasy future.
Yoko Ishii has adopted the principle of photographing at times when the streets are
deserted, Antonin Lainé photographs in places that have become inaccessible and in limited shooting conditions.
