Claude Tillier (1801 – 1844):

Romain Rolland (1866 – 1944):
Internationally renowned writer and thinker. Nobel Prize in literature. Multifaceted author: a river novel Jean-Christophe and a colorful little novel which was Clamecy's ambassador around the world: Colas Breugnon.
