MTB circuit n° 3 Vert de Varzy

Beautiful circuit with relief combining sporting pleasure and discovery of nature and heritage, with magnificent 360° views.
During your tour, you will discover in Marcy: the St Sulpice church, with a front porch topped by a semi-circular dome; a 16th century half-timbered house, unique in the canton; the Grange des Dîmes, a former seigniorial property which perpetuates the memory of a privilege abolished since the Revolution (it served as a warehouse for the products of the levies on the harvests accruing to the lord, the Count of Marcy); thus the washhouse, the watering trough, and the bench of the dead, which is one of the rare benches preserved in the region.
Arriving in Varzy, take the opportunity to discover its must-see attractions: the Ste Eugénie wash house, the castle, the Dupin statue and the Grasset Museum located at the Town Hall.
