The Domaine des Carriers is a former limestone quarry whose old residences and outbuildings have been rehabilitated into charming gîtes and guest rooms. This space, a true haven of peace and history, is located 5 minutes by car from Clamecy, 46 minutes from Auxerre and 2 hours 35 minutes from Paris.

The La Maison du Contremaître gîte is completely independent and offers you an area of ​​100 m2. It is accessible from a discreet entrance on the side. At the back, you can enjoy the terrace: sunny during the day, a large parasol is at your disposal to optimize your time space; Fully lit, you can enjoy it until late at night. The cottage has a beautiful functional fireplace in the living room, fueled by wooden logs.

A vaulted cellar, located on the ground floor, and accessible from the house itself, will allow you to experience typically magical candlelit evenings!

The two bedrooms are located upstairs. The bathroom is adjoining and has an integrated toilet (the second toilet is located on the ground floor and is independent).

Occupancy of the cottage for 4 people:

One of the two bedrooms has a 160 x 200 bed, and the other has twin beds (90 x 190) which can easily make a double bed: 180 x 180. The bedding is of high quality to ensure good sleep and comfort. ideal rest.

Possibility of accommodating 6 people: 1 convertible sofa is in the living room. Please contact management for pricing.

A magnificent cellar room has been set up to allow you to organize some exceptional evenings. By candlelight, for an aperitif in the fridge or to taste wines that you have discovered during the day... this space is at the disposal of your creativity!

The cellar is accessible from the outside as well as the inside (electric glass airlock and staircase).

Enjoy our infinity pool, with panoramic views of the Nivernais canal, the roofs of Chevroches and the foothills of the Morvan. Relax in an idyllic setting, surrounded by beautiful vegetation and relaxing calm. Heated swimming pool, for private use and reserved for guests of gîtes and guest rooms.
